AAA Roofing Company, Inc. 1923-Present

Formed and started as AAA Roofing Company, Inc., in 1923. The name was obtained by permission from the AAA Invincible Roof Manufacturing Company who made roll roofing. Dillard Cox, the step father of Bob Huntington, was the original owner. Nothing other than shingles and roll roofing were applied up through the WW II. In the fifties, AAA's attention moved from small scale to commercial roof work. Dillard was a smart man who continued to grow the company and soon entered his stepson, Bob Huntington.

Bob began his work at the tender age of 12 when the company was located at 948 Ft Wayne Ave in a small office warehouse. Eventually, the company moved to 510 West Pearl St behind the still famous John's Hot Stew. After several years the city needed the land and we were forced to move again. We then moved to 630 West Market Street, just down the street from the Statehouse and the Acme Evans flour mill. This is when the company moved over to the hands of Bob. In 1967, for the first time, we owned our own property. This happened with purchase of 910 North Highland Ave. This is still our current residence.

In 1975 the company became incorporated and began to do well in the roof moisture business. As Bob's sons entered the business the company continued to grow and they helped create the professional image that AAA continues today. In 2005 Bob Huntington retired and left in the company in the competent and extremely hard working hands of his two sons David and Jim. David and Jim continue to run the company today and the company continues to strive to live up to its motto Quality, Service and Value since 1923.

Bob Huntington

Bob purchased AAA Roofing Company, Inc. from Dillard Cox in 1965 and bought the first property for the company in 1967. Bob moved the company from far less than a million a year to where the company's scale is today. Bob is still involved in the goings on of the company.

Jim and David Huntington

Jim and David run the operation today and both have extensive field experience. They have grown the company extensively. Jim serves as a member of the MRCA board. Jim has two sons that are currently involved in the company which would move this company into its 4th generation!
